But Where to Start??

Choosing an online auction site that's right for you may seem like a daunting task if you've never explored this fun world of online shopping and selling.  Lets start with assuming you are the consumer and not the seller.  Shopping on sites such as Ebay are a great way to start your adventures with online auctions.  Ebay is very user friendly and has almost anything you could ever want (toast emblazoned the miraculous image of Jesus anyone?).  But if you're hooked on the thrill of winning that item of your dreams, don't stop at just Ebay.  There are many other sites that will have you coming back again and again, it all depends on what you are looking for.  Here's a fun few to check out:

Bidz  http://www.bidz.com/, a site for jewlrey and brand name items.  This site has a ton of sterling silver, gold, diamonds, and other precious gems at great rates.

Bid4assests  http://www.bid4assets.com/ is one very successful online real estate auction site.  These properties are put up by the U.S. Marshalls Service and Goverment at the federal, state, and local levels.  This site isn't just for land however, they sell collectables, cars, and other vehicles as well.

BidZillion  http://www.bidzillion.com is a site for the techie in all of us.  This site exclusively sells electronics and gadgets.

ShopGoodwill  http://www.shopgoodwill.org/ is a site that is just like shopping at a Goodwill store.  Your winning bids will help those in need.  It's a feel good shop that'll have you hooked

  1. Well, I have purchased some items in Ebay myself..if you are really interested on the item then you would like the excitement of biting until you win the item. I have come to discover that it is better to wait and try to find if the item has the option to buy the item now, instead of waiting until the last minute. However, there have been times when the product i received is not was i ordered, luckily ebay allows the purchaser to review the seller's score based on feedback so that we can see if they are reliable and what to expect from the bid.
